Gorenje and Hisense are building the smart home of the future in Las Vegas

This year's CES, the world's largest show of consumer electronics and innovative technologies, taking place in Las Vegas, includes for the first time a presentation of the Gorenje Group, appearing there under the auspices of the Hisense Group. Our central new feature that is already a result of Gorenje's successful integration into the Hisense Group, is the new ConnectLife platform that will allow seamless communication between connectible products by all Hisense Group companies.

CES is a global hub featuring over 4,500 exhibitors, including both tech giants and ambitious startups. Each year, it showcases next-generation innovation in consumer electronics. This year' Gorenje Group is taking part there for the first time with its products, as it presents its connectible major domestic appliances made in Slovenia, under the auspices of its new owner, the Hisense Group.

As building blocks of a smart home, connectible ovens, dishwashers, washing machines and refrigerators can communicate seamlessly through the innovative ConnectLife platform both among them and with other Hisense Group appliances and devices. ConnectLife namely includes advanced digital services and solutions suitable for new connected and non-connected Hisense Group appliances from all product categories. The convenience of the ConnectLife platform exceeds respective brands and brings full integration of products by all manufacturers and brands of the said manufacturer in a single platform, or seamless communication between platforms. Thus, Gorenje and Hisense present at the CES tradeshow the first results of combining their experience and integrating the two companies' know-how, while collaboration on new product development is resulting in an all-around offer of products for the smart home of the future.

"Our presentation at the CES is a clear signal to the entire white goods industry that Hisense Group is among the few to combine development and manufacturing knowledge for all appliances and devices that will be a part of smart homes in the future. This also proves that Gorenje made the right decision to team up with a strategic partner, as we have been able to take decisive and important steps in a very short period of time, which have brought our products to the world's largest consumer electronics show – and via CES, to even more homes across the globe," President of the Gorenje Management Board and Hisense International Vice President for Marketing Franjo Bobinac is convinced.

The ConnectLife platform is also integrated with Gorenje Group's digital assistants, as well as services and products offered by third-party partners. It is also connected with digital personal assistants such as Alexa, Google, Siri etc. Gorenje will launch the ConnectLife platform and its line of connected appliances in the markets in this year.
