Gorenje's commitment to design is evident in the innovative products that have won numerous international design awards and ranked among the finalists throughout the 15 years since the first Design Month. "We are proud to receive this special award by the jury, confirming that we have been developing and co-shaping the design profession for many years. This and many other awards also prove that despite the rich tradition of design, we are still innovative trendsetters," said Lidija Pritržnik, director of product design at Gorenje. Gorenje had already won a special award for Timeless Slovenian Design at the Design Month in 2011 for the innovative Simple&Logical washing machine that was novel on a global scale. Moreover, Gorenje Group products rank each year among the recipients of the prestigious Red Dot international design award; this year, the Group received four for its products under Gorenje and Asko brands.
