Over 70 companies were nominated for the title; in addition to the vote of professional jury, the results relied on votes cast during the last five months by the visitors of the www.sina.com.cn webpage. At the fair, Gorenje presented its array of excellent designer products which included the SmarTable, Gorenje Pininfarina Collection, Gorenje Ora-Ïto Collection, Old Timer refrigerators, Gorenje made with crystallized TM Swarovski crystals refrigerators/freezers, and Premium refrigerators, built-in ovens, and laundry dryers.

Gorenje entered the Chinese market three years ago in order to expand its operations, particularly procurement of materials and sales of Gorenje products. The household appliances have been successfully positioned into the top in terms quality and pricing. Mr. Andy Miklav, head of Gorenje Shanghai representative office, said upon receiving the award: "We are very happy about the award as it is an excellent point of reference for all our future discussions with business partners that we expect to meet in the following days at our stand; we also expect successful sales performance in 2009. The goal of our presence at this fair is also to promote the reputation of the Gorenje brand as a high-quality brand oriented towards superior design."

The Interior Lifestyle China Fair will take place from November 19 to 22. While it is primarily intended for professionals, it will also open for the consumers on the last day; over 10,000 from 60 countries across the world are expected.
